此獎項主要頒發給在展示會中的新興顯示技術，當年度獲獎共有4個單位，而錼創為其中之一。SID 學會給予錼創的評價如下：「Created a transparent display using a unique process to transfer its RGB MicroLEDs onto the backplane substrate . The group showed a 3.12-inch diagonal 256 × 256 resolution, transparent, full-color RGB MicroLED display with a luminance of more than 800 cd/m2 and a wide color gamut.」
