PlayNitride Inc. was formally established in 2014, gathered a group of companions aim to "Change the world" and bring new thinking to Nitride industry. Through the innovative R&D and diverse business models, PlayNitride has become a leading company in the field of MicroLED technology, enabling our customers to shape the future.
Possibilities of New Concepts
PlayNitride has demonstrated new applications of MicroLED display every year. It helps our customers to explore many new product concepts and different approaches. PlayNitride has showed (1) More than 60% high transparency Micro LED display; (2) High resolution and high brightness wearable MicroLED display; (3) High resolution flexible Micro LED display; (4) High resolution borderless modular Micro LED display; (5) Ultra-fine resolution MicroLED micro-display for AR; and etc.
All of the demonstration is based on PlayNitride's proprietary technologies, PixeLED Display and SMAR·Tech. PlayNitride offers our customers highly customized solutions for their design. Recently, we also developed new PixeLED Matrix solution for borderless modular display and µ-PixeLED micro-display.
Focus of Future Display Development
MicroLED is under the spotlight of everyone who needs a display. PlayNitride also won several awards for each application. Besides, CEO of PlayNitride, Dr. Yun-Li Li, received Special Recognition Award from Society for Information Display (SID) in 2020. It recognized Dr. Li and his team in development and commercialization of MicroLED technology.
This Special Recognition Award is mainly awarded to outstanding individuals who have made special contributions to industrial research of display. The issuance of this award means that the display industry recognizes that MicroLED is the next generation display technology, and has moved from technology development to market application. It also indicated that Micro LED has been identified as the new generation display technology and key development topic.
